  1. Add “so” to the list. ; ) I do use kids for human teens to distinguise them from little children. It’s a contemporary setting and it’s always in dialog, not narrative.

    How’d I miss that one? I’ve over used it! I think kids is used in that regard and can be in small doses. It’s the overuse that becomes a problem.
